They were married for 12 years and split in 2006, before he embarked on a relationship with her close pal Denise Richards.
But despite their rocky history, it seems that Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora are still very close.
For the Bon Jovi rocker was spotted tagging along as the Melrose Place star, 51, and their daughter Ava, 15, went shopping on Saturday.

The happy family were spotted in Las Vegas at the Planet Hollywood shopping area where Heather shopped up a storm at Victoria's Secret.
The trio then went on to buy lots of make up from Sephora.
Inside the beauty department store, Heather was seen trying out a hair product on her daughter, while two of her friends fawned over the blonde teenager.
Meanwhile, Richie, 53, looked a little on the bored side as the clan got in their girly time.

As always Heather looked great for the outing, displaying her slim figure in a pair of skinny black jeans and a white tank top.
She accessorised with a Louis Vuitton handbag and white flip-flops.
The friendly star also took some time out to pose with a fan outside the shopping area.
The fact that the trio have travelled to Las Vegas together spells that Heather and Richie are still very close, and has also sparked rumours of a possible reconciliation of the former married couple.
The outing with Richie also comes after Heather, who parted ways with fellow Melrose Place star Jack Wagner in November last year, stepped out with a mystery man last month.

The actress was seen holding hands with a handsome man as she left The Sage Room restaurant in Malibu, California in September.
Celebrating her 51st birthday, the TV star seemed in high spirits as she exited the eatery.
She looked great in a sleeveless black dress which fell above the knees and she paired the number with knee-high boots.

Meanwhile, her companion clutched a bottle of wine in his hand, suggesting the pair planned on celebrating the rest of the night back at home.
Heather has been working on the set of her new film, Scary Movie 5,
She will play the mother of a young dancer, played by High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale.

Her character is said to be inspired by the nightmare mother played by Barbara Hershey in Black Swan.
She has also recently had a guest role on US sitcom Hot in Cleveland.
The youthful-looking blonde was hospitalised in January after a drug and alcohol binge.
And it was reported shortly afterwards that a physical altercation with former flame of four years, Wagner, is what apparently sent her over the edge..

The star and her ex-fiancé, 52, met with prosecutors to discuss the incident, however, no charges were filed and the case was closed.
She was married for seven years to Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee from May 1986 to August 1993.
After their divorce, she married Richie on December 17, 1994.
Heather's divorce from the rocker was finalised in April 2007 and he went on to date her pal Denise Richards.
